When selling to consumers, Tormek AB applies the mandatory rules that follow from applicable legislation. More information about the Distance and Home Selling Act and the Consumer Sales Act can be found at www.konsumentverket.se.

The buyer must be of legal age or have the permission of a guardian.

1. General

These general terms and conditions apply to shop.tormek.se which is operated by Tormek AB (org no 556586-5788), hereinafter referred to as Tormek.

2. Prices

Prices quoted to not inlcude tax (for US customers). The customer is responsible to pay taxes.  Our prices do include tax for all other countries.

3. Ordering

At shop.tormek.se you can order online via our online shop. We do not accept orders placed by email, fax or other means unless otherwise agreed. The agreement is binding if you receive a shipping confirmation from us.

We reserve the right to make product changes and improvements on an ongoing basis. Should any of the goods you have ordered be out of stock, you will receive a refund for the goods.

4. Payment

We offer Card Payment (Visa, Mastercard), Klarna Pay Later, Klarna Pay Now, Klarna Slice It and Apple Pay. For payment via invoice and card payment we cooperate with Shopify Payment & Klarna. To shop by invoice, you might be required to enter personal information like your social security number. The Payment Methods may vary on different markets. 

All payments are processed by Shopify Payments, which provides a secure electronic payment solution. The Customer can pay for their order using VISA, MasterCard or American Express. All card information is stored in accordance with the card networks' regulations. Your card details are handled in a secure environment - Shopify Payments is responsible for handling information obtained through the service in accordance with the requirements set out for certification under PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and other applicable security regulations.

5. Shipping 

We are shipping to most American States at the moment. The shipment is free for orders over 50 $ order value. 

We are also shipping to several countries in Europe (in November 2023 these are: Sweden, Finland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and UK. Free shipping for orders from 50.- Euro / 50 £ order value. 

6. Right of withdrawal

As a private person, you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 calendar days according to the Distance Contracts Act. If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear and unambiguous notice of your decision to withdraw from the contract. In this case, you as the customer pay the return freight. Always contact us (Link https://shop.tormek.com/pages/contact-us) before sending anything back to us.

You have the right to open the packaging and handle the goods you bought from us in such a way that you can determine their characteristics and function. Returned goods should be returned in their original packaging with all labels and manuals if included. If the goods have been used or handled to a greater extent than is considered necessary to determine the characteristics and function of the goods, the right of withdrawal does not apply.

Once your return has been received, processed and accepted by us, the refund will be made via the payment method you have chosen.

7. Complaints

If it turns out that the product is defective or breaks down and it falls within the scope of our warranty, Tormek will bear the shipping costs. Please contact us and we will send you a return slip.

8. Cookies and Personal Data

9. Gift cards 

A Tormek Gift Card is a voucher that can be purchased at shop.tormek.com. The gift card is delivered after ordering in the form of a unique one-time code via email. The code is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The code is redeemable for orders placed on shop.tormek.com, subject to temporary end of sale. The value of the gift card will be deducted in the ordering process after the code has been entered. In addition to your 14-day right of withdrawal, no open purchase or exchange rights are offered on Tormek Gift Cards.

10. Disputes 

If you have a dispute with Tormek, you have the right to file a consumer complaint via the US government website.
